Calculate Surface Area Wizard

Calculates the true surface area of 3D polygons

Inputs:

• A PolygonZ  feature layer.

Outputs:

• New Polygon  feature class.  (If the user has edit rights on the source dataset   the calculations can be performed on the same dataset)
• The surface area of the polygons will be stored in a new field - "ET_AreaZ"

Notes :

• If the 3D polygons are planar the exact area will be calculated
• The area of non planar polygons is derived via triangulation
