Every registered user of ET GeoWizards or
ET GeoTools is eligible to:
- Get free upgrades to all the new versions of the
software he has purchased released within one year of the date of purchase
If you have purchased ET GeoWizards 8.7 on 19 September 2003 and there are
two new releases of the software (versions 9.0 and 9.1) before 19 September
2004, you are entitled to get the upgrades free of charge.
- After the free upgrade period has
expired, purchase of any new version of the software
he has a license for ( within one year of
the expiration of the free upgrade period) at about 25% of the current price of the software which
will make him/her eligible to another year of free upgrades.
If you have purchased ET GeoTools 9.0 on 19 March
2004 and there is a
version 9.1 released on 14 June 2005 (your one year free maintenance has
expired) you can purchase this version at about 25% of the price of version
9.1. This will entitle you to another year of free upgrades.
- If more than one year from the expiration
of the free upgrade period (more than two years of the original purchase or
the purchase of the last upgrade) has expired, the upgrade fee will be
double of the current upgrade fee.
If you have purchased ET GeoWizards 8.7 on 19 September 2003
and have not purchased any upgrades till 19 September 2005, you will need to
purchase 2 upgrade licenses per original license in order to get any version released
after 19 September 2004.
- If more than two years from the expiration
of the free upgrade period (more than three years of the original purchase or
the purchase of the last upgrade) has expired, the
license cannot be upgraded. A brand new license has to be
purchased.
If you have purchased ET GeoWizards 8.7 on 19 September 2003
and have not purchased any upgrades till 19 September 2006, you will need to
purchase a brand new license if you want to continue using the software.
