Cognocarta GIS (CCGIS) is a full service Geographic Information System (GIS) company. Established in 2000 to meet the needs of Biological Research Associates (BRA) a thirty-two year old environmental firm, CCGIS now serves a wide diversity of clientele across the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean. Realizing the growing market for not only GIS products but for “Maps That Think,” Cognocarta GIS was re-structured and incorporated in late 2005 as Cognocarta GIS LLC, to better meet the needs and demands of its clients.

Currently Cognocarta has six offices across Florida and one in San Jose Costa Rica. The highly trained staff includes GIS and Remote Sensing Analysts, Photogrammetrists, Geographers, Surveyors, Agronomists, Biologists, Zoologists, Ecologists, Geologists, CAD/GIS Specialists, Statisticians, and Software Programmers.
